THE ULTIMATE MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE WATCH ORDER

Mar 08, 2018

Marvel Studios have released 18 films into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) over the last ten years, with eight more in various stages of production. The series has collectively grossed over £9.2 billion at the global box office, which makes it the highest-grossing film franchise of all time.

It’s important to distinguish that the MCU does not consist of every Marvel film, as the X-Men franchise is not considered a part of this universe. This excludes popular characters like Deadpool too.

As we approach the end of Phase 3 of Marvel Studio’s planned plot arc, we will start to see the cinematic universe joining together.

Infinity War will see the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy meet the Avengers, and as such, there is a presumption that you will already be familiar with the characters and what it is that they can do.

For people who’ve already seen the films, watch order isn’t really an issue, but for newcomers or those looking to rewatch the entire series, here is my take on the watch order.
